Hot and Ready to Serve – Braised French Green Beans with Garlic and Mushrooms

The night before start prepping the Braised French Green Beans with Garlic and Mushrooms. First, slice your mushrooms, mince your garlic and shallot. Place in a small container then wash and clean green beans, storing them in a Ziploc bag. Second, make sure your butter, Olive oil and beef broth are easy to find. This recipe is now right at your finger tips and can be one of the last dishes to be cooked. Third, the beans braise for 30 minutes or until tender. Just check about halfway through cooking to make sure enough broth remains, adding more if necessary. Garlic and shallots are a fab combination and smell divine. Add in mushrooms, sauteing until water is released and stir in beans and broth. Heat to boil and reduce heat to low simmer. Viola! One delicious side dish will be coming to your table.
