Well, the school year is about to begin for the kiddos. Hard to believe it’s that time already. I know you Mom’s will start to struggle with getting your kids to eat a good breakfast before running out the door. Stress and worry no more, I got you covered with my Breakfast Blueberry Banana Milkshake. This recipe is not in the tradition of an ice cream based milkshake. It’s made with fresh blueberries, banana, milk, sugar, honey, or agave for a little sweetness. Add all the ingredients to your blender with ice cubes and whiz the milkshakes up. The kids I know love blueberries so it’s the perfect combo for the kiddos. Serve these fun, thick shakes in their favorite glasses or cups with a colorful smoothie straw and breakfast is served. I used milk bottles you can find at Target or even your local dollar store. The milkshakes are thick so smaller straws don’t work as well. No mess, no fuss…Try Breakfast Blueberry Banana Milkshakes made with raspberries, strawberries or peaches, too. Deliciously healthy and a great start to your kids day. Fabulous for an after school snack I may add. Let me know what milkshake combinations all the Mom’s can come up with. Have a great day and a healthy, happy school year!
