“Chocolate Gooey Bars”

If you’ve seen my post for Dollie’s Gooey Bars, say hello to Chocolate Gooey Bars. Instead of using a yellow cake mix for the base crust, a chocolate cake mix is used. These bars are just as gooey and delicious as well as easy to make. They taste rich and buttery which is amazing since the recipe only contains six ingredients. Another one bowl recipe at your service and a keeper. Give my Gooey bar recipe a try. Even your junior bakers will love to get their hands dirty making these delectable bars. I can see them now with powdered sugar all over their faces.

8 oz. pkg. cream cheese, softened

1 – 1 lb. box confectioners’ sugar, plus more for sprinkling

In same bowl used to mix first three ingredients, mix together cream cheese, confectioners’ sugar, and 2 eggs until well combined. Pour over cake mixture.

Bake for 40 minutes until edges are browned and pull away from the sides of pan.
