As Summer comes to a close, I couldn’t resist to bring you just one more cookbook about grilling. I found this book by accident, flipped through the pages and found some great recipes. So many of us grill and barbecue year around so I thought go ahead and buy it. My Cookbook of the Month – August 2020 is America’s Best Barbecue by Arthur Aguirre. You’ll find recipes, techniques from prize-winning chefs for ribs, brisket, chicken and much more. Bring on the napkins and dig in.

I purchase cookbooks for several reasons. One being the recipes sound amazing plus I have favorite authors and chefs I follow and admire. It can be the subject matter like grilling and foods I have a passion for. In this book you’ll read about optimal ways to cook the best barbecue ever to please family and friends. Nothing is off limits when it comes to barbecue. Sweet, savory, spicy, and tangy all exists in this cookbook wiggle room for you to experiment and create your own canvas. Ah, the joys of cooking!

Invite Family and Friends to Enjoy Your Creations

Since there is no shortage options in this cookbook, so I recommend Rattlesnake Tails (page 51), Award-Winning Chicken Thighs (page 54), Bold Tri-Tip (page 84), Huli Huli Chicken (page 170), Carne Asada (page 196), Smoked Meatloaf (page 236), and Mexican Salmon (290).  These are only a few of the delicious recipes including rubs, dressings, sauces, brines, and injections.  No need to be in a hurry when cooking barbecue because it’s a low and slow process.
