Bet you’re ready for a new cookbook recommendation? Wondering why I skipped December? I did this because for me Christmas is about baking cookies, around 1200 out of small kitchen, time got away from me. However, I’m back with my Cookbook of the Month – January 2020, “Bobby at Home” written by Bobby Flay. This is Bobby’s latest cookbook and like all his other books, just outstanding. Can you tell I’m a big fan?
Cookbook of the Month – January 2020
If you’re not a fan, you should be especially if you like boldness and foods full of flavor. Bobby considers this cookbook “fearless flavors from my kitchen”. And believe me, he is not kidding. The book is dedicated to his Mom who prepared all family meals at home. I feel like he is talking about my Mom as she cooked every meal served in our house.

Bobby starts off writing about essential pantry and equipment items all kitchen should have. I love the pantry list because all you will need to purchase are fresh items needed for the recipe you choose. I find it makes cooking so much easier and enjoyable.
Enjoy breakfast & brunch, snacks & appetizers, vegetables & sides, pizza & pasta, meat, seafood, desserts, cocktails, and the basics like stocks and vinaigrettes, etc. I have a favorite from every section yet too many to list here or this post will be two pages. Due to the simplicity of the recipes make changes for your own palate. That’s the pleasure in preparing your own meals.
