Besides my family, cooking magazines have been a great source of inspirational throughout my life. Who doesn’t like a new twist on an old favorite, cooking tips, best ingredients, appliances, and utensils. That’s what you’ll find in my Cookbook of the Month – May 2019 recommendation and more. Years ago discovering cooking and baking was my “happy place” made me want to learn everything I could possibly soak in this brain of mine. From watching cooking shows on TV to the written words in cookbooks, I just couldn’t get enough. Cook’s Illustrated was one of the first I purchased. From the beginning this magazine has held the respect of both professional to the novice. Foods you thought you would never cook, Cook’s Illustrated make it easy and fun.

if you’ve never picked up a copy, let me tell you what you’ll find inside. First of all, a letter from the editor is always on the first page, written as an inspiration to all. The magazine if full of recipes, stories, experiments in creating the best recipes possible, and plenty of kitchen tips and notes. Each magazine contains everything you need to prepare perfect meals from start to finish.
