Cookbook of the Month – October 2017

With the holidays coming fast and furious, you may want to take a look at my Cookbook of the Month – October 2017, Baking with Less Sugar by Joanne Chang. Joanne Chang is the pastry chef and co-owner of Flour Bakery + Cafe with locations in Boston and Cambridge, Massachusetts. Joanne is also the co-owner of Myers + Chang with her husband.

So my reasons for enjoying and recommending my Cookbook of the Month – October 2017 is simple. Joanne’s recipes are easy to read and prepare. They taste fabulous and unless you live in the Boston area, this is the easiest way to get her tasty treats. In addition, her book is filled with recipes for dessert using natural sweeteners and little-to-no-white sugar. Joanne says, ” Make Life Sweeter, Eat Dessert First.” I couldn’t agree more.

Everywhere you look we cannot escape the fact we eat way too much sugar and we need to cut back. Joanne also includes a section on how to substitute sugar in your baking.
