“Cream Cheese Yogurt Fruit Dip”

Does hot, humid, sticky weather have you craving cool and refreshing foods? Whether it’s a cool, crisp salad topped with grilled chicken for dinner to keep from feeling overloaded or a simple fresh fruit something for dessert to keep you feeling refreshed after a long day. Summertime is about light yet flavorful meals. At least that’s what I like some days. So why would you serve heavy desserts when you can serve a lightly sweet and tangy dip with fresh fruit like my Cream Cheese Yogurt Fruit Dip.

Grilling is not just for meat, poultry and seafood. Try grilling fresh peaches and pineapple because grilling brings out the sweetness in fruits. Check out this link for how to grill fresh fruit. Plus who doesn’t love the little grill marks especially kids. Kids like anything considered a dip or something they can smear on their foods. I consider this a good way to get the little tikes to eat things they normally won’t touch without a bunch of added sugar. I also used Neuchâtel cream cheese to cut a little fat in the recipe.
