Set to chill a few hours or overnight and Viola! Let me warn you this dip is highly additive. It tastes better and better with each scoop. Homemade anything is the best!
Creamy Green Onion Dip
The tangy smooth taste of cream cheese mixed with sour cream and mayo is the base for this dip. Stir in chopped green onions, fresh parsley, garlic and bit of salt and pepper. Hence, heaven in your mouth has been created. Creamy Green Onion Dip tastes fresh and clean while each bite leaves you with an explosion of green onion flavor. The flavor cannot compare to any store-bought brand. I bet you’ll never buy a market brand again.

Greek Yogurt can be substituted for cream cheese if desired therefore reducing calorie count in this dip. Creamy Green Onion Dip only 3 grams of carbs per serving. Music to the ears of anyone counting carbs. Serving this dip with fresh vegetables like carrots, celery, or jicama are a perfect combination and highly additive. Just remember Greek yogurt tends to be a bit more tangy than cream cheese yet highly appealing.

I love this dip and my husband who is not a big fan of fresh onions loves it too. This recipe easily doubles to serve many guests. Heck, why not make more so you’ll have some for yourself. Do you ever wish for leftovers after the party has ended? I think this is especially true around the holidays. We tend to prepare foods not made much throughout the year. Creamy Green Onion Dip
1 – 8 oz. package cream cheese, softened
1 cup light sour cream
1/2 cup Olive oil mayonnaise
1 garlic clove, minced
1/2 cup chopped fresh parsley
1 ½ bunches green onion, chopped (use green and white parts)
1/4 t. white or black pepper
1/4 t. kosher salt
In a medium mixing bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth. Add in sour cream, mayonnaise, garlic, parsley, green onion, pepper, and salt. Mix until thoroughly combined.
Allow dip to chill at least 3 hours in refrigerator or overnight. Serve with your favorite potato chips, pita or pretzel chips.
