Today I am knee deep in the middle of making cookie dough and I need a break. Figured I better start thinking of dinner but since it’s in the oven I needed to share one crazy recipe. When I first saw this recipe created I thought this cannot possibly work. Yet, low and behold this is one of those recipes that really is no recipe at all. I call it Garbage Can Cheese Spread. I’ve created a recipe for you to follow but feel free to use your favorite ingredients. Served this spread to friends during an impromptu get together and need I say with rave reviews. Truly crazy delicious!

Sometimes the best recipes are ones created when you have nothing in mind except for the fact you know the tastes you enjoy. That’s what this spread is all about.
Garbage Can Cheese Spread
Garbage Can Cheese Spread starts with all the leftover cheese lurking in your refrigerator. In addition, add cream cheese, mayonnaise, chives, garlic and onion powder, Sazon seasoning, and a little milk to thin as necessary. The spread can be thinned to make more of a dip than a spread if desired. Whichever way you roll, deliciousness with abound. Trust me, I keep this recipe handy and in the back of my mind especially for parties but maybe you want a little snack now and then.

Grab your food processor, leftover cheese, any seasonings you enjoy. Create a masterpiece. Nothing like this recipe can be found in your local market. Watch your guests fall in love during a holiday party or Sunday football. Guaranteed to become a favorite nibble. Enjoy!
Garbage Can Cheese Spread
3/4 pound of cheeses of your choice (cheddar, muenster, Havarti, Swiss, Mozzarella, etc.)
4 oz. cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup mayonnaise
2 T. fresh chives
1/2 t. garlic powder
1/2 t. onion powder
1/2 t. to 1 t. Goya Sazonador Total seasoning
Milk, if needed
Combine cheeses, cream cheese, and mayonnaise until blended.
Add in chives, garlic powder, onion powder, and Goya seasoning and blend until thoroughly mixed or as desired.
Pour in milk to thin if too thick and adjust seasoning, if needed.
Refrigerate for at least one hour for flavors to meld.
Serve with Melba toast, crackers or hard pretzels.
