My Greek Pork Loin Chops are one meal you can start before leaving for work during the week or early on a weekend day. Just fire up your grill when you get home. This recipe is that easy but most importantly, these babies will stop traffic and quite possibly feeling like you could eat bones and all. Tender meat with just the right amount of seasoning…Yum!
Greek Pork Loin Chops
First, purchase the best pork chops you can find as good quality meat makes all the difference in taste and tenderness. In starting the marinade for this recipe, combine Olive oil, lemon juice and zest, red wine vinegar, oregano, garlic, onion powder, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes in a small bowl. Place chops in a plastic bag and pour in marinade. Close bag and massage chops to evenly coat. Marinate at least 4 hours to overnight in refrigerator. Just a reminder to remove chops from refrigerator 30 minutes before grilling. Room temperature meat cooks more evenly and quicker.

Greek Pork Loin Chops
4 – 1-inch thick bone-in pork loin chops
1/4 cup Olive oil
1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
1½ T. red wine vinegar
2 t. finely grated lemon zest
1 T. dried oregano
1 T. finely minced garlic or 1 t. garlic powder
1/2 t. onion powder
3/4 t. kosher salt
1 t. black pepper
1/2 t. red pepper flakes
In a small mixing bowl, combine lemon juice, vinegar, lemon zest, oregano, garlic, onion powder, salt, and black pepper, and red pepper flakes.
Slowly pour and whisk Olive oil into lemon juice mixture until emulsified. Reserve two tablespoons of marinade to brush on chops during the last minutes of grilling.
Place pork chops in a large Ziploc bag and pour in marinade. Close bag and massage chops to coat evenly with marinade.
Place bag in refrigerator to marinate for at least 4 hours to overnight. Remove chops from refrigerator to rest at room temperature for 30 minutes before cooking.
Prepare and heat your grill to 400 degrees. Oil grates and place pork chops on grill, cooking 4 to 6 minutes one side then flip to cook the other side 4 to 6 more minutes. Depending on thickness, chops will take about 12 to 16 minutes to cook.
Flip chops and baste with reserved marinade, cooking 1 to 2 minutes per side until inserted instant read thermometer registers 150 degrees. Temperature will rise another 5 degrees while resting covered with foil.
Serve with grilled vegetables or a fresh Greek salad.
