“Italian Parmesan Chicken Wings”

Who doesn’t love the salty, sharp taste of Parmesan cheese? When it’s blended with garlic and Italian seasoning as a coating on chicken wings, it’s incredible. Try my Italian Parmesan Chicken Wings. They make an awesome party snack or an easy weeknight meal even your kids will love.

Italian Parmesan Chicken Wings

My Dad loves chicken wings. My sister has begged me to come up with a recipe for him that’s easy to prepare and has a combination of flavors he loves. I think he will be pleasantly pleased and extremely happy I thought of him. Dad loves garlic and he loves Italian flavors. And what makes these wings even better is they’re baked not fried. So this recipe is a little healthier than fried. My Italian Parmesan Chicken Wings are baked on a foil covered pan. YAHOO!…did I say easy clean up? My wings will be a hit with you and your family.

Try my Italian Parmesan Chicken Wings and let me know what you think. Enjoy!

12 chicken wings, cutting in 1/2 at joints, tips discarded (look for small wings or drumettes or wingettes), 24 pieces

3 – 4 T. Olive oil

2/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 t. kosher salt

1 t. black pepper

2 t. garlic powder

1 t. Italian seasoning

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Line a jelly roll baking sheet (sided) with non-stick foil or if using regular foil, spray with non-stick cooking spray.

In a large Ziploc plastic bag, pour in 3 T. Olive oil. Place wing pieces in bag to coat with oil; shake until well coated. Add additional oil if needed to coat. The wings should not be swimming in oil but nicely coated; set aside.

In a small mixing bowl, combine Parmesan cheese, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning.  Pour seasoning mixture in plastic bag with wings. Shake bag until all wing pieces are coated with seasoning mixture.

Place wing pieces on foil-lined baking sheet. Sprinkle any remaining seasoning over wings. Let sit for 20 minutes. Bake in oven for 25 minutes. Turn chicken wings over and bake for an additional 20 minutes or until done.

Serve hot…!!!
