Welcome to the first drink in my Thirst Quenchers Feature. This first drink is a kiddie cocktail named for a little boy near and dear in the hearts of many loved ones. I’m calling the cocktail Kaden’s Peach Ball. Made of sweet peach nectar, sweet and sour mix, and club soda, served over ice in a milk bottle with a cherry – lemon peel garnish. Kids and springtime is what I thought of when I created this drink and caught myself in a moment of reflection.
Kaden’s Peach Ball
First, do you ever take a day to sit back and reflect on the week gone by? This has certainly been one of those weeks to appreciate and remember the people we have loved and lost. Secondly, to reflect on the joy and happiness they had brought to our lives…how sweet and heartfelt those memories are and third, how every memory has the power to bring laughter, smiles and tears. Kaden’s Peach Ball is part of my reflection; how precious each and every day is and to never let a day go by without letting those we care about know how you feel. No day is promised…celebrate each day as if it’s the last.
For you adults celebrating, don’t forget to make your kids a celebration of life kiddie cocktail, Kaden’s Peach Ball. So sweet and full of life just like he was. Kaden, a toast to you and never letting us forget how much you were and are loved.
On Dragonfly Wings you soar…!
