“Kicked Up Million Dollar Dip”

Hi everybody! I stepped away for a bit of me time but I’m back and bringing you more delicious food. If you’re like my husband and I, we are huge fans of flavorful dips. Ingredients don’t much matter as long as they taste like heaven. I think I’ve made dips with all kinds of ingredients so long as they compliment each other. Cream cheese, greek yogurt, sour cream, goat cheese and mayonnaise are the most popular base ingredients. However, the add-ins make the difference in texture and taste. You want something addicting, try my Kicked Up Million Dollar Dip. This recipe is a play on a dip used for baby potatoes. You won’t be able to stop eating.

Time To Get Your Snack On!

Mayonnaise and whipped cream cheese add creaminess but it’s all the other ingredients that kick this dip up a notch. Mild cheddar cheese adds just the right amount of punch as I found sharp has too much bite. The green onions and toasted almonds add crunch and freshness while bacon adds a smoky note. Garlic, Worcestershire sauce, lemon pepper turn up the flavor a notch. That said, it is the cayenne pepper adds a kick of heat. How much to use is not listed in the recipe but feel free to sprinkle to taste. Stir all ingredients together in one bowl and there you have it.

Yum-o!

Allow the dip to rest for at least an hour before serving. I’m telling you this is one of the best dips you will have eaten this year. What I love about dips is anything can be a dipper. Use crackers like Townhouse or Club, pita or bagel chips, vegetables like cauliflower, broccoli, bell pepper strips, celery, and carrots. With this dip use lightly flavored dippers. Highly seasoned crackers tend to clash with the dip ingredients. This is my opinion as I want you to enjoy every bite.
