Creating this recipe was easy as I based flavors from my Mom’s baked beans as a guide. She hardly ever used canned beans but when we were kids as she was a stay at home Mom so she had the time. Quick Chipotle Baked Beans
2 – 16 oz. cans Bush’s Original Baked Beans
2 strips cooked bacon, minced
1 t. Chipotle Chile powder
1/4 t. onion powder
1 T. yellow mustard
1 T. light brown sugar
Kosher salt and pepper
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a 2-quart casserole dish, mix all ingredients until well combined. Add salt and pepper to taste.
Place dish in oven to bake for 45 minutes until browning and bubbly.
Serve hot with your favorite barbecue.
