Sometimes I crave a snack yet I like them to be reasonably healthy. We tend to get carried away when snacking and before you know it you’ve eaten a whole bag of chips. I’ve learned to portion my snacking at home and choose wisely what I snack on when the craving hits. I love carrots and I choose to make dips that go with them. Let my Savory Beau Monde Dip be your new go-to. Grab your favorite veggie and snack away.
Savory Beau Monde Dip
My friend Angie turned me on to this seasoning years ago. Beau Monde Seasoning is an earthy, savory blend. I love to smell it in the jar and slightly tastes like it smells. I hope that makes sense. Take a whiff and savor the onion and celery. Beau Monde tends to go with many ingredients including sour cream and other dried and fresh herbs like in this dip recipe.
Savory Beau Monde Dip
Super easy to make and great for that last minute invite or when the snack craving hits. This recipe gets better the longer it sits yet can be eaten an hour after it’s made. You may already have some of the ingredients on hand. If not, purchase sour cream, mayonnaise, green onion, dried dill weed, dried parsley, and the quintessential Beau Monde Seasoning. Combine all ingredients and refrigerate for 1 hour.
Savory Beau Monde Dip
Serve with baby carrots, celery sticks, broccoli, cauliflower, jicama, cucumber spears, and bell pepper strips. Chips and pretzels pair nicely as well if you choose. Kids love this dip, too. Gather what you like and enjoy this weekend!
