“Sour Apple Vodka-tini”

Happy St. Patrick’s Day to all my fellow foodies. On this day we’re all Irish in spirit, wearing green, and to be blessed with the luck of the Irish. Well to help socially lubricate your spirit, grab a shaker and a martini glass. Have a leprechaun stir you up a Sour Apple Vodka-tini.

When you think Irish spirits, a pint of Guinness comes to mind. I love to cook with Guinness but not a favorite beer to drink. So to celebrate St. Patty’s Day I came up with my own with this green spirited potion for the occasion. Maybe I’m even wishing for spring with this cocktail.

Sour Apple Vodka-tini

Sour Apple Vodka-tinis are super easy to make and you probably already have most ingredients to stir up this cocktail. If you’re entertaining a crowd, use a martini pitcher to whiz up several cocktails at a time. Otherwise for one cocktail, add ice to a shaker, pour in vodka, sour apple martini mixer, sweet and sour mix, and lime juice. Shake, shake, shake and strain or not into a chilled martini glass, garnished with a slice of lime.

You’ll love the smooth, thirst quenching, refreshing taste of a Sour Apple Vodka-tini. It’s easy to forget what you’re drinking as this cocktail drinks real easy. So I wish you “Good Health, Good Luck and happiness.” Slainte!
