Fruit juice, simple syrup, citrus juice and other easy to find ingredients make up these mocktails. They can be made in the glass, a shaker or a blender if you prefer slushy drinks. Recipes can be doubled or more if needed. The intent is to make cocktails that are versatile, thirst-quenching, and fun. Plus, they have to be delicious.

Mocktail No. 1 – Grapefruit Lime Cooler
1/2 cup grapefruit juice
2 T. fresh lime juice
Lemon-lime soda
Ice
Lime slices, for garnish
Fill a tall glass with ice. Add in grapefruit juice, lime juice, and top with lemon-lime soda. Garnish with lime slice. Enjoy!
Mocktail No. 2 – Ombre Grapefruit Mocktail
1/2 cup grapefruit juice
1 to 2 T. simple syrup
Club soda or sparkling water
1 t. Grenadine
Ice
Lime slice and cherry, for garnish
Fill a tall glass with ice. Add in grapefruit juice, 1 T. simple syrup, and soda or water. Stir and taste, add ing mor simple syrup if needed. Top with grenadine and garnish. Enjoy!

1 oz. fresh lime juice
1 oz. pineapple juice
Ginger Beer
Ice

Mocktail No. 4 – Pina Colada Mocktail with Mock Rum Syrup
Prepare the mock rum syrup:
In a 2-quart saucepan, combine 1/2 cup dark brown sugar, 3/4 cup water, 1 T. pineapple juice, 5 crushed black peppercorns, 5 whole cloves, and 1 cinnamon stick. Bring to boil, reduce heat to simmer and cook for 15 minutes. Turn off heat and let cool. Refrigerate for later use if needed.
For mocktail:
2/3 cup pineapple juice
1/4 cup coconut milk
2 T. fresh lime juice
1 T. mock rum syrup, or to taste
Ice
Maraschino cherries, for garnish
Fill a cocktail shaker with ice and add in pineapple juice, coconut milk, lime juice, and mock rum syrup. Shake for about 30 seconds.
Pour drink into a tall glass with ice and garnish. Enjoy!
Mocktail No. 5 – Hibiscus Lime Tea with Honey Syrup
3 T. hibiscus tea syrup, to taste
1/2 cup water
1 – 2 T. fresh lime juice
Ice
Club soda or sparkling water
Honey Syrup:
2 T. honey
2T. water
Prepare honey syrup by adding honey and water to a microwave safe bowl. Heat for 20 to 30 seconds until honey and mixed with water to create syrup. Cool and set aside until ready to use.
For mocktail:
In a measuring cup, combine hibiscus tea syrup and water, adjusting measurements as needed.
Fill a large mug or tall glass with ice and pour in hibiscus mixture with lime juice. Add in 1 T. of honey syrup, stir and top with soda or sparkling water. Garnish as desired. Enjoy!

1/3 cup passionfruit juice
1/2 oz. lime juice

Mocktail No. 7 – Grilled Lemon Lemonade
2 large lemons, halved, grilled, and squeezed
Simple or honey syrup, to taste
Ice
Club soda or sparkling water
Preheat grill according to manufacturer’s instructions to medium heat (350 degrees). Slice lemons in half and place on grill cut side down. Grill until charred but not black. This will take about 5 to 6 minutes. Remove from grill and cool.
To make lemonade, fill a tall glass with ice and add grilled lemon juice, simple or honey syrup. Top lemonade with club soda or sparkling water. Garnish with lemon slice.
