I dedicate this post to my Dad. The best way I know to keep a loved ones memory alive is to celebrate things they loved and shared with others. I’m thinking of my Dad right now and came across a cookbook he dearly loved. Littered with post-its to mark recipes he had cooked or wanted to prepare gave me a good laugh. As a child growing up in a family of Southern cooks, this is one cookbook I will treasure. My parents traveled to many places during their retirement.years and seems like they were always somewhere new. South Carolina and Georgia coastal regions were two of their favorites, in addition to the food served in both areas. I think you’ll totally enjoy this easy to follow cookbook. Yes, this book brings back many memories. As a result I hope you’ll share favorite foods and recipes with your loved ones. Pass them down and give your family a reason to celebrate the lives of those no longer with us. Miss you Dad!
