Baked potatoes can be filled with almost any savory topping you can think of. For instance, broccoli and cheese, pulled pork with all the fixins, or tuna topped with cheese for a potato melt. Delicious if you’ve never tried it. That works if you want your baked potato as a meal. However, baked, broiled, or grilled meats deserve a potato with something creamy to compliment your meal. Goat cheese lends that tang and smoothness to a potato that can’t be beat.

So, let’s talk goat cheese and these glorious toppings you won’t be able to live without. The first topping is made with goat cheese, Olive oil, chives, shallots, lemon juice, and cream. The onion taste reminds me of a sour cream topping Mom used to make and oh so good. The second topping is goat cheese, Olive oil, parsley, shallot, lemon juice, and cream. This topping has such a freshness about that’s because of the parsley. And the third topping is goat cheese mixed with smoked Gouda which is irresistible in taste. Smoky, cheesy, nutty goodness makes it the perfect topping for grilled foods.
